I think something like Enron would play out totally different now, since all of us have so much more real-time access to information -- accurate and inaccurate info spreads so rapidly now due to social media. Things that could be quickly captured with a screenshot (or even mentioned via a text) would hopefully alert people to red flags much sooner these days. Yeah, it's hard for me to predict how Enron would play out in the 2020s. It would be noisier, for sure, for the reasons you mention
