It seems like a pretty good one, so I'm glad to be reading these articles for the first time. "Nation's Elderly Hit Hard By Closing Automatic Doors" was my favorite headline.
That's such a big goal of this newsletter, to remind and help folks revisit these old jokes! I remembered a couple of the headlines (the Bush story, the tan lines one) but not much else. And yeah, "Nation's Elderly Hit Hard By Closing Automatic Doors" is very good. A shame that so many of those old one-liners are forgotten.
